Regos Plus takes out coveted Business of the Year award

The Parkes business community celebrated their collective achievements at their annual night of nights on Friday evening.

The Chamber of Commerce hosted a crowd of more than 250 at the Parkes Service Club for the staging of The Henrys – Parkes Business Awards.

The coveted “Henry”, the Parkes Business of the Year award, was taken out by Regos Plus Tyre & Mechanical - one of four awards the business was presented with during the ceremony.

Emcee Anthony Maroon likened the winning streak to that of a famous film.

“It’s like Titanic at the ‘97 Academy Awards,” he said.

“What a night you’ve had, you’ve scooped the pool.

“There’s nothing you haven’t won, absolutely fantastic!”

Besides The Henry, owner of Regos Plus Tyre & Mechanical Patrick Lenehan also accepted the Excellence in Manufacturing, Agribusiness, Mining, Industrial & Trade award, the Excellence in Small Business award and the Young Entrepreneur award.

Patrick said the auto industry in Parkes is something he is really passionate about

“We couldn’t do it without our team and dedicated customers,” he said.
